This must be one of my most favorite company in this business. Not only the produce all kind of robotic stuff but their inventions are going one step ahead finding solutions to simplify moves manually. Here is some info about this company and history.
"Filmotechnic", was established in 1990, based on the Experimental Laboratory of the O. Dovgenko Film Studio Kiev, Ukraine

Nowadays, it has been incorporated as a private company and has been continuing the experience of the Laboratory in some branches of the camera equipment production industry.

Filmotechnic has created its own new direction in the development, design and production of the remote control camera equipment such as: remote camera cranes and gyro-stabilized heads, stabilized helicopter systems, remote- control dollies, etc.

For many years the company has been leasing and selling its robotic camera devices to various customers all over the world, who film motion pictures, music videos, television commercials, etc. Filmotechnic has established its branch rental offices in Russia, USA , Canada and international agents in England and France.

The company staff includes a great variety of scientific- technical personnel and experts in the various branches of science and equipment engineering in the Ukraine and Russia.

All of our products are protected by domestic and foreign patents and has been repeatedly exhibited at the different international trade shows and exhibitions such as: Annual Variety's Show Biz Expo in Los Angeles, NAB MultiMedia World in Las Vegas, Photo-Kino in Munich and many others.

The majority of our equipment has been invented and designed by Anatoliy Kokush, the president and owner of the company, the latest of which are: Traveling Cascade Crane , Auto-Robot Crane, gyro-stabilized Flight Heads.

Some of my favorite Products

Scissor crane.  This is a manually controlled extending body crane from 2 m to around 7m  using a scissor XXXX configuration simplifying the telescoping action of cranes like the technocrane and similar cranes which are very complex. Though it looks thats is over build in a monstrous XX frame I think that configuration can be done in smaller rigs and become lighter and more modular .But what a great idea.

Travelling Cascade Crane. Thats just another way to travel the camera on the camera jib adding one more axis.

Robot arm.  Fully remote body boom action can be placed on vehicles and together with the flight gyrostabilized head produces some great footage..

Check them out at   www.filmotechnic.com and see some of the most exiting stuff you ve ever seen.
